The week of English

During this week we tryed to remember some facts about favourite children`s holiday - Halloween.

So I organized some competitions, quest, show of talents in different classes.

Let's start from the 3d form. We had competition: "What is Halloween?" Two teams fight for the prize. During this competition they revised some Halloween creatures, tryed to "clean" the house from the noisy ghosts, helped Winnie with Wilbur to prepare for family coming and "cleaned" her room, and of course we decorated the witch`s house with special "decorations". Everything was ready for family meating in the best way. So, the both teams get the nice prizes from Winnie for their work.

In the 4th form we transformed into the Ghost hunters and tryed to help the city to stay safe from different creatures. We "went" around the town to find the ghosts, we got some calls from the citizents where the dangerous creatures may be. Also we visited some haunted houses and "cleaned" them from the monsters. And the last adventure waited for us in the city park - where we caught some funny ghosts. Of course the autorities of the city were grateful for our great job, and they honorably presented our teams the best rewards - "Key from the city". As both team get the equal points, they also got this prestigeous rewards. The friendship always wins.

In the 5th form we had i show of talents: "Winnie-the-Witch goes to a party". Partisipants needed to get to the witches party, and did all the tasks to show their best talants in different spheres. So we created three witches` teams. Every team prepared the best outlook for their participant, meet with scary judges, and did three tasks to show their creativity, magical powers, and the abilyty to create the most funny and also spooky stories. And every team showed their best results. So, all partisipants of this talant show got thier awards. Well done, my dear.

And the most unusual was the Quest about Ukrainian Myphycal Creatures in the 6th form: "How the Cossacks...". As the background I took one of the series of the favourite ukrainian cartoon with the same name. Of course I extended the story in my own way. So two teams needed to save the brave cossack Tur from the evil spirits of Ukrainian folklore. The both teams traveled with help of their maps. On their way they met bad and good creatures of the village and homes, midnight creatures and even the forest spirits. And also we could revise and get an extra points for the titles of those books, and names of their ukrainian authours, where these creatures were described. The team of the cossack Grai made it with better result, so they got the honorable Cossack`s Gramota from the Hetman of Zaporizhzhia Sich.
