Halloween Fun

Before the autumn holidays we with pupils of 8th and 9th form organised the contest. Everyone waited for it with impatience.

This was the time for halloween games and fun. Pupils learnt also about this holiday, its traditions and customs. We all had a good time, and both the teams got their prizes.

The School Olympiad

Today the pupils of 8th- 9th grade took part in the School Olympiad of English language. Every one did all her best to get the best result.

The Teacher's Day

Unusual quest for us teachers organised our students today. We solemny did all the tasks and found the the magic button - it was in the heart of every teacher.

Also our dear children organised a nice concert. Their congratulations created an atmosphere of cosiness in our hearts. Thank you!

The Feast in Dubno

This traditional folk event took place each year in our city. Our teachers and students and their parents or relatives participate in it year from year. 

This time we had a nice time in Dubno visiting unforgatable exibitions and tasting the tasty dishes of our district.

The First of September

This event we with help of our students decided to organised in the traditional way. Our children wanted this holiday must be organised in the solemn style.

A lot of parents, our graduaters and other guests visited our event. And my little students also were happy to see each other after a long summer holidays, and started a new school year full of energy and curiousness.

Our Graduates

Today our graduates leave the school to find their life road. The ceremony  took place on a warm-hearted atmosphere. They felt like genuine kings and queens in their honorary places.

They were welcomed not only by teachers and parents, but also by their friends, parents, grandmothers, brothers and sisters, future first-graders and other guests. With excitement and sorrow, the graduates remembered various moments of their school life by turning the last page of their "school album".

Goodbye Day

Here is the time to say goodbye to summer camp. Well, the campers realy had fun. All their rewards are the result of good work. And we all in camp become very friendly. Today the children remembered the most interesting moments of their camp life, watched the photos. It was a good fun. And at the very end campers created a poster of wishes and impressions from the camp life.

Quest

This unusual day we started  as usual with active lingual warm-up.

Then we "went" to the magic world where all the participants had to take part in lot of interesting tasks from the magical creatures of this country in order to find our way back home.

And for the end we created a book about all our adventures.

Day of Everyday English

We started this day with an active warming up, and we remembered whether we found new ways to learn words and work with them, and worked with different useful expressions.

Then the students took part in the "Intellectual Marathon", where the forces of the participants were almost equal.

At the end we worked on the project,  and the campers came up with their own ads that would encourage them to learn English.

Travelling Day

An active warming up about the most popular means of transport began our morning in the camp today. Everyone has a lot of fun.

We continued to work in the camp, taking part in the competition "City and Transport". The campers worked on the project "The Most Favorite Travel".

Hobby Day

Our camp participants started the day with active warm-up and at the same time repeated the words to the topic.

Then the campers took part in the lesson, named the most diverse hobbies. And at the end they produced the one big project to the topic "Hobbies", where everyone added his part to a map of our likes.

Grammar Day

Today, we travelled to the magical world of Harry Potter. We read and discussed the section from the book, reviewed the video clip, and performed grammatical tasks for it.

Then the camp participants took part in the competition. They had the opportunity to attend the lessons learned by Harry himself. Everyone really liked the lessons, because each of them opened the children a secret.

At the end, each camper presented a project about the favorite things from this fantastic story.

The Day of Environment

This day we decided to devote  to the ecological problems of our planet. The campers in active form remembered the words, and viewed the presentation to the topic. They were very impressed by their photo of animals that fell into trouble due to uncontrolled polution of their habitat.

We also reviewed the part of the movie "Avatar" and saw what the consequences could have caused the human desire to use all the resources of the planet. And at the end, the kids worked with the projects to find solutions to the environmental problems of our planet.

Food Day

Today, in the language camp, we began our day with the funny warming up and games, we remembered the names of products and dishes. Each participant was happy to talk about his favorites.

And the competition "Hell Kitchen" showed that campers know well how to "cook" from the products obtained. At the end, the children presented with pleasure their projects "My favorite dish", and they tasted their delicious meals by organizing a mini-picnic.

Well, that's summer

 The second day of our language camp was dedicated to the magic time of the year - summer.

Children played a variety of language games, expressed their expectations and hopes for an interesting holiday in the summer, learned poems and songs about this time of year. At the end, the campers presented a project to the topic "Summer".

Summer Camp BRIGHTS

Our language camp "Brights" has started its work since today.

  Pupils traditionally introduced their detachment, adopted the camp's rules during the Opening Party. We also presented our mini-projects "Getting to Know Me." The atmosphere of the holiday was complemented by interesting and fun language games.

Останній Дзвоник

Сьогодні особливий день, адже прощаються зі школою мої дорогі і любі випускники. Саме тому і провести його ми вирішили по особливому: коротка лінійка і загальношкільний квест та танцювальний флеш-моб.

Всі учні були просто в захваті. А наприкінці — фотосефотосесія переможців районних конкурсів та, змагань. Та й загальне фото переможців квесту. Молодці!

День вишиванки

 День вишиванки у нашій Здовбицькій школі ми вирішили відзначити по особливому. У фойє школи на перервах лунали пісні про Україну, про вишиванку. Ми з учнями на годині спілкування дізналися чимало цікавого про вишивання в Україні та ознайомилися з картою стилів вишивки в різних куточках нашої країни. Учні також дізналися про роль вишиванки для кожного українця, і в долях деяких наших земляків. Завершилося свято загальношкільним танцювальним флешмобом.

The Week of English language

From 23 to 26 of April the pupils of our school had a great opportunity to learn something new about English, the UK, its customs and traditions, personalities and more.

On Tuesday we had a contest "The Titans' Battle" for pupils of 8-9th forms. There were two teams: "Queen's fans" and "Shakespeare's fans". Both teams could check their knowlebges about these prominent people and they proved that they are real fans.

On Wednesday the pupils of 2-3d forms had "a hunt" with the Easter Bunny.  We learnt more about Easter traditions in the UK, and had many funny tasks from Bunny.

On Thursday the pupils of 4-5th forms could learn more about how to became a real english gentelman.  Doing different tasks they got more useful information about the country and its traditions.

On Friday we had a quest. The pupils of the 7th form for an hour become the wizards and magicians in the world of Harry Potter. While finding artifacts they could learn more about personalities, sights, queen  of Great Britain.

Весняне прибирання

Традиційно, щовесни у школі проходить акція «За чисте довкілля».

Цього року  в ній взяли участь учні 5-9 класів. Долучилися також і учні початкової школи.

Учні також разом з вчителями Войцещуком Р.П. та Лисуном М.П. прибрали могилу невідомого солдата  в с. Злинець та могилу лейтенанта Кученкова А. Я. в с. Гірники. 

Акція: «Зроби своє село красивішим»

Сьогодні учні нашої школи прийняли участь в акції: «Зроби своє село красивішим». Об'єктом для творчості вони обрали громадську зупинку.  Роботи було багато, але вони справилися на «відмінно».

Участь у акції взяли учні 8-9 класів. МОЛОДЦІ!

St. Patrick's Detectives

Before the great holiday we decide to organize the party in the honor of St. Patrick. This time my pupils were like the real detectives who had to solve the great mystery of stolen things.

They have to help the leprechaun and find the symbols of the holiday. Doing this work we also had an opportunity to learn the sights of Belfast.

The Great Mystery were solved and we have got a  joy and spent a good time together.

«7 steps to Love"

Today, the atmosphere of love prevailed in the school. The spirit of St. Valentine has come to us.

We started our day with the action "Arrows of the Amur" - where a small amur quickly delivered valentines to all classes.

After the completion of the action, schoolchildren participated in the competition program "Seven Steps to Love", where four pairs fought for the title of the best, and the guests of the party earned a heart-rate for their favorite pair. The victory was won by the pair №1 - Matusevich Angela and Janchak Dmitry. Our congratulations to the winners. All participants of the competition received sweet gifts.

The meeting with voluntears.

This day we expected during the long time. The voluntears form the USA shared their ideas of working with children of different ages.  They've presented their best ways of teaching. We could take part in different  activities wich were conected with developing speaking and better understanding of  the English language.

It was realy  very useful experience. We also could learn a lot of interesting facts of teaching English in this country. 

 We all are thankful to the organizators for this meeting!

Seminar for English teachers

How to make your lesson interesting? What can make it unusual? How interested your children in using and learning English? 

Today we could find answers for all these questions and share our ideas in this way.

 The theme of our seminar was: "The using of technology "Rebus-method" on English lessons, in a way of developing cognitive interests of the pupils". We've got not only good ideas for work, but also a real joy while practice this method. And we also got the list of the useful websites conected with this theme.

The Seminar for the teachers of the first forms

Today, as a teachers of the first grades we had an opportunity to get more useful and unusual ideas for our work. The theme of our seminar was "The role of games in the proces of studing foreign language in primary schooling".  

We shared our ideas, watched presentation and video from our collegue experiance, and got useful ideas and  internet resurses which we can use in our teachers work.
