New Year is coming

 The end of the year  is a time to sum up all nice and bad things that have happened. 

For everyone and for me expecialy this was the period of life that tought me some good lessons. It showed me some opportunities and just nice people around, changed some of my perspectives and points of view. But it brought some true things in my life. It was also a year that showed me the importance of my values in life and my best strengths.

In Ukraine we haven't got the tradition to give the New Year's promises, but we have the tradition to make  wishes. So, I wish for everyone to have many positive moments, good friends and happy memories. And of course may your wish list come true in New Year that is coming! Happy New Year for everyone!

Новорічні веселощі

 24.12 учні мого та шостого класу взяли участь у невеличкій конкурсній програмі. 

Веселі та оригінальні ведучі подарівали чудовий настрій своїми неперевершеними образами та запальними конкурсами. 

Наша команда"Північні ельфи" впевнено наближалась до перемоги. Чимало веселих і цікавих завдань їм довелося виконати. 

І хоча перемога в останню мить вислизнула з їхніх рук, вони всеодно не розчарувалися. Адже головне - це веселий настрій та досвід отриманий в процесі руху до мети.

А солодкі подарунки від наших спонсорів доповнили святковий настрій. Всі залишились задоволені. 

Сучасний урок. Практичний аспект.

 21.12. на базі нашої гімназії Привільненський  ЦПРПП провів семінар на тему: "Сучасний урок як умова ефективної та якісної освіти". 

Для моїх колег і для мене особисто це був час сповнений креативу та творчого пошуку. Ми не лише дізнались більше про те, яким повинен бути сучасний урок,  а й через практично організований діяльнісний підхід самі стали учасниками такого навчання.

Маленьке свято для маленьких дітей.

Ми з моїми вихованцями для учнів молодших класів вирішили організувати танцювальний флешмоб до дня святого Миколая. 

Вся малеча з нетерпінням чекала на візит Миколая, адже лише побачивши чортиків та янголів їх захвату не було меж.  Учні взяли участь і міні-конкурсі: "Виправ лист до Миколая" зі смачненькими призами. І танцювали всі - ну просто молодці! А коли з'явився дідусь Миколай, то емоції, емоції, емоції!!! І звісно ж всі отримали свої солодкі подарунки. Дякуємо нашим спонсорам!

Святий Миколай пообіцяв учням оберігати нашу школу, та повернутись через рік, аби пересвідчитись, що всі були чемні протягом року. 

16 днів проти насильства

 З 25 листопада по 10 грудня у нашій гімназії тривала акція "16 днів проти насильства". Ми з учнями у класному колі щодень обговорювали різні теми та питання  правової освіти та проблем насильства в сім'ї, класному колективі, чи в соцмережах, та здорові шляхи їх вирішення.  Як це відбувалось можна переглянути тут:

Це була насичена робота. Але всі питання варті розгляду та обговорення.

День Пам'яті жертв Голодомору.

 27 листопада в Україні вшановується День пам'яті жертв Голодоморів. 

Про події тих років ми з учнями говорили на годині спілкування: «Пам’ятаймо минуле заради майбутнього (до дня пам’яті жертв Голодомору 1932-1933рр.)» 

Напередодні у школі учні також могли відвідати виставку присвячену цьому дню. Учні школи також долучились до всеукраїнської акції "Запали свічку пам'яті".

До дня української писемності та мови

 До Дня української писемності та мови ми з моїми семикласниками провели вікторину: «О мово рідна».

Учні мали змогу дізнатися цікаві факти про історію української мови, риси української мови та ознайомились зі згадками іноземних мандрівників що перебували в Україні в різні її історичні періоди.

 Працюючи в міні-командах , діти також продемонстрували свої знання з різних розділів мовознавства та української літератури.  

Вебінар від Привільненського ЦПРПП

 Сьогодні ми мали чудову можливість побачити вебінар: "Сучасний урок у контексті компетентнісної освіти.", який організував для нас Привільненський ЦПРПП. 

Вчителі району мали можливість не лише дізнатися про  всі аспекти сучасного уроку (10 аспектів, які варто враховувати при плануванні кожного уроку), але й познайомитися з способами їх практичного використання. Вебінар мені особисто дуже сподобався, бо був досить змістовним та інформативним. Думаю, що кожен присутній, як і я особисто, почерпнув для себе чимало корисного.

The Day of Knowledge

 This day is always so special in our school. This time it brought us the feelings of a great family, a hope and true dreams. Even the gloomy weather couldn't spoil it.

This mood we brought into our fisrt lesson. And our time-travel into the past of our Country was filled  of the events from our own life-stories , hopes and wishes.

I wish everyone: the teachers, the students and the parents and guests of this school holiday - never give up, achieve their planing results, have a sunny mood (at least everyday), and reaching their stars. And of course - a happy school year.

Регіональна онлайн-конференція для вчителів іноземних мов

30 серпня Dinternal Education за підтримки Рівненського обласного інституту післядипломної педагогічної освіти та методиста кабінету суспільно-гуманітарних предметів Кукли Ольги Володимирівни проводив онлайн-конференцію для вчителів англійської мови.

Зокрема, Кукла Ольга Володимирівна ознайомила нас з особливостями оцінювання учнів у НУШ та стратегіями отримання ефективного зворотнього зв'язку від учнів.

Олена Міходуй  ознайомила нас з плануванням уроку з англійської мови за методом ESA. Ми дізнались про:

• системний підхід до планування збалансованих, мотивуючих уроків англійської мови;
• максимальне залучення учнів та забезпечення високого рівня продуктивних навичок на кожному уроці;

• етапи уроку, що забезпечать усвідомлене засвоєння матеріалу учнями на уроках англійської мови.

Серпневі зустрічі

 Сьогодні на базі Привільненського ЦПРПП відбулись серпневі зустрічі в онлайн-форматі в професійній спільноті вчителів іноземних мов. В ній взяли участь вчителі іноземної мови району зі шкіл-партнерів центру. Доповідачами виступили:

Манзюк Валентина Миколаївна, з темою: "Нормативно-правове та навчально-методичне забезпечення викладання іноземних мов";

Карпюк Віта Олегівна, з  темою: "Компетентнісний підхід у вивченні іноземних мов. Модель компетентнісно-орієнтованого уроку";

Сав'юк Олена Володимирівна, з темою: "Використання сучасних методик і технологій. Дистанційне та змішане навчання, віртуальні освітні середовища";

Я виступала з питанням: "НУШ - школа, до якої приємно ходити. Критерії оцінювання.Модельні навчальні програми";

Гержун Уляна Ігорівна, з питанням: "Професійний стандарт вчителя закладу загальної середньої освіти."

Попередньо, 20 серпня 2021 року, ми з колегами взяли участь у щорічних Серпневих педагогічних студіях вчителів іноземних мов (англійської,німецької, польської, французької) на  базі РОІППО. Зустріч відбувалась в онлайн-форматі.

Випускний вечір

 Сьогодні на шлях юності і юнацюких надій стали випускники нашої школи. 

Востаннє пройшлися вони коридорами нашої школи, як учні. Можливо, вони повернуться сюди пізніше, але вже студентами та батьками.

В добру путь, випускники, і нехай на житєвих дорохах вам зутрінуться щирі друзі, справжнє щастя, і найміцніша підтримка. Попутного вам вітру у ваші вітрила.

Останній дзвінок

 Першого червня у нашій школі пройшло свято Останнього дзвоника.

Відбулося воно, в зв'язку з карантинними обмеженнями, у вільному стилі та родинному колі.

Це був особливий день для моїх учнів ще й тому, що у межах класу діти мали змогу взяти участь у квесті: "На порозі літо". Учні рухались від станції до станції виконуючи різні креативні завдання:  від вигадування фантастичних ідей, до практикуванні у віршуванні. По закінченню, склавши свої літні "маршрути" та пройшовши "Митницю"(веселі правила безпечної поведінки на канікулах) кожен учасник отримав особисту путівку в літо. Тож - на літній відпочинок учні відправились з гарним настроєм.

Також вітаю всіх учнів та вчителів з закінченням навчального року та початком літніх канікул!

Her Majesty the Queen

 On the 21st of April, the Queen Elizabeth II had an 95th Anniversary. But this event had also some tune of sadness, because of her husband, Prince Philip's death. I and some of my students, who also watch all news about royal family, we were realy upset with this loss.

But, on this day of her birthday, we couldn't speak about this Great Woman and the Royal family. So, during my English lessons today I with students of the primary school watched the short presentations about Queen's two birthdays. Children were impressed by this fact and liked the photoes of Guards and a parade on the London's streets.

With 5th grade students we also had a short 15 minutes quiz: "Her Majesty the Queen". Children showed  at first to themselves, how many do they know about the Royal Family and the life of the queen Elizabeth II.

Meeting of the school-laboratory of intercultural communication

 Yesterday, on the 20th of April, we had an opportunity to learn the experience of specialized school "Nadiya's center" named after Nadiya Marynovych in  Rivne. The theme of this meeting was: "Innovations in the formation and development of intercultural communication in the process of education".

Tetiana Gavlitina told us about the Strategies that this school once has chosen and about the Regulations on the school-laboratory of intercultural communication.

Maryna Varenyk, Deputy Director for Educational Work, told us about the histury of this school and facultative course that English teachers created for different ages of pupils of this school. This school was first one, which integrated american modul system of teaching English. Also these works has won several prises on the region and all-ukrainian level.

Kukla Viktoriya shared with us her expirience of working with Pearson and Dinternal Education. She told us about new programs for the pupils created on the base of "Big science"books and about all advantages for pupils passing the international exams and getting the certificats of special levels. 

It was very informative and interesting meeting. These people really have done a great work. Thank you for good experience.

St. Patrick's Day

   Today was a realy spesial day at our school. It was full of surprises and discoveries.

  Every my English lesson today was devoted to this special event - we had 10-15 minutes contests honored to this saint. The 9th formers have watched the short video about St. Patrick's Day facts with short discussion. In so called "Rainbow Races" both teams showed their knowladge about The Nothern Ireland and its traditions. The winner team got a special prize - Pot of Gold. 

 The students of the 4th grade could find out some interesting information about this holiday and watched the fairy-tale story "How to catch the Leprechaun".

The 5th formers could feel themselves as the best detectives and solved the mystery about Irish symbols.

The 6th grade students have watched the video about history of this holiday and discovered some new facts about the holiday. They also have taken part at St. Patrick's contest full of funny moments. Both teams have got an equal points. 

The students of the 2d and 3d grades have learnt the special St. Patrick's words and special facts, and also have watched a funny stories or songs with Leprechaun.

  Also specially for St. Patrick's Day I prepared for my students the QR-codes'  Video quest. I placed it in some places at the school so everybody could improve his or her IT skills.

 And of course the traditional contest: "Green Day" were organised too. Those who wore today something green could get a prize. Watch these photoes how it was.

Taras Shevchenko - the Great Poet and the Soul of Nation.

This week in our school was devoted to the name of Taras Shevchenko. Some of my English lesson I also devoted to our Great Poet.

While we were studied the topic "Literature" we revised the writers of the Ukrainian literature too. So, on one of my lesson I tryed to organise the contest for the pupils of 8th grade about the life and the literary activity of our Great Poet. What has it been you can see here.

With pupils of the 6 th grade on the 10th of March we had an hour of speaking: "Kobzar in my life and the life of the country".

 Dring it we revise some facts about life of Taras Shevchenko and recite some of his well-known poems. I also used the method Infographic to present some unusual facts about the Great Poet. 

The pupils in groups learnt to use some books and internet resorses in a way to check are these facts true of false. They liked this type of work, and of course it helped them to train their skills in developing the critical thinking.

Webinar from DINTERNAL Education

 On the 17th of February we had  an opportunity to watch an interesting and helpful webinar: "Teaching Speaking in Online Classroom Environment".

The presenter, Olena Mikhodui shared with us the useful ideas about blending learning.

She told us about the differences in classroom and virtual teaching, and how without changing the strategies in our lesson plans get the better results and feadback from our students without differences in the classical or digital learning. Mostly it was about working with the platform Zoom, but some steps still will be useful and productive in Google Meet. 

So, I like the mostly all ideas thow they are realy helpful and creative. 

Also, Olesia Kozlyshyna gave us some helpful resurses in teaching Speaking which we can use in preparing our online lessons.

Вебінар РОІППО для керівників методоб'єднань класних керівників

 Сьогодні керівники шкільних методоб'єднань мали можливість познайомитись з цікавими формами проведення і організації виховної роботи з дітьми в умовах дистанційного навчання. Наталя Мінакова  поділилась з нами корисними ідеями для отримання ефективного "фідбеку" від учнів та їхніх батьків з використанням різноманітних інструментів ефективних в умовах он-лайн навчання.  

British Council`s on-line forum.

 On the 24th of January we had a great opportunity to watch the on-line forum: "Virtual Teaching: skill of the future?"

Here are the presenters:

 The teachers shared their ideas and sites about using helpful virtual instrumens on their English lessons and give as some information about the successful using of them. They shared also some helpful tips/steps about teaching English they use on the lessons. The presenters shared their own expirience. 

  So, I think this on-line forum gave us a good  piece of information to be thinking about. Because it has a lot of good ideas of succesful work with children  during the distance studing.
