New Year Party

This winter holiday left the spirit of goodness and  fairy-tales  in the memorable moments of our  childhood . So, the party, we prepared  this year had this feeling too. There were presented all kinds of tairy-tales creatures on it: the evil witches and policemen, the Father Frost and the other unusual characters. The were the special guests too: Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson and Mrs Freimut. One could also visit the big ukrainian family  on the New Year Eve and got joyment with their funny New Year adventures.

Everyone the children and the guests of the party got a lot of positive emotions.

And I want to wish you to have more such positive moments in your life in this New coming Year!

Thanksgiving

This american holiday has a special spirit. And we, as a teachers, should bring it to our children. Here is one more idea, you can spend it in unusual way. 

This time I decided to organize my party  in the way of hunting after the turkey. This game also had the elements of discovering the history and traditions of this holiday. And, of course, no one turkey was hurt during our hunting. At the end of the game our Prey got the freedom, sayed  its thanks and gave the hunters some small sweet presents.

The Day of ukrainian language and writing

This holiday we celebrate every year on the 9th of November. Students of the 7-9th  forms took part at the school holiday "While  T. Shevchenko is, there is Ukraine... " All the partisipants learned more about our glorious country, about Kirilo and Myphodiy (the creators of our alphabet), revised some facts from  the history of our state language. After this event the children of our school also took part at the all-ukrainian dictation of national unity.

Halloween

Dear teachers, the day of Halloween is coming, and we all think how to prepare some parties for our children. And every of us think about some special holiday, of course. I know that you like some of my ideas, so I decided to share one with you. 

I propose you to spend this after classes activity in the way of imaginary travelling. Create your own Haunted house, with not scared but funny creatures, and go on. You know what is "Storytelling", so try to create your own story with some interesting tasks and riddles, where your children could help every creature and get joyment from this work. Here what  I have done this time. 

Try to prepare this "story-game" and be ready to find the light in the eyes of your children. And have a happy Halloween, of course!

Journey to the Holly Places.

The teachers and the staff of our school during the autumn holidays visited the tract of Gurby, where we honoured the memory of the fallen heroes-defenders of Ukraine in the Pantheon of Glory, prayed at the Holy Trinity Monastery of Dermans, visited the source of St. Nicholas in the village of Gilche.

Seminar for English teachers

 We have visited the informative seminar today in Dubno. The teachers of our district could deepen their experience in developing Critical Thinking and practice the use of Storytelling techniques.

 Thanks for an interesting and useful experience. We promise to use all these aproaches in our work.

The School English Olympiad

Today the School stage of All-Ukrainian Olympiad in English was held. The pupils of grades 8-9 took part in it.
