On the second of October we marked the unveiling of a memorial plaque dedicated to Roman Babych— a fallen defender of our community, a former student of the school, and a Hero of Ukraine.
The family of the fallen soldier, representatives of the authorities and clergy, students, and teachers gathered in the school courtyard to honor the memory and heroic deeds of our Heroes.
In the middle of October we also had an opportunity to visit the Dubno Town Children's Library and meet with the children writer of our region. Students from different grades chatted with Nataliya Kyrychenko, and asked some questions about her work. The writer read them one of her stories and children could try themselves in writing. Some stories our children wrote were realy very nice. Additionally, the children took part in a creative workshop, where they attempted to create genuine masterpieces in the style of Petrykivka painting.
